At the 145th Street Bridge in New York City, progress continues beneath the surface—where strong infrastructure begins.
Our team is actively replacing damaged pile clusters on the Northeast side of the bridge, building on recently completed work at the Northwest pile cluster. While much of this work happens out of sight, its impact is critical to the long-term performance, safety, and reliability of this key piece of NYC infrastructure.
Pile cluster rehabilitation plays a vital role in reinforcing the bridge’s structural foundation, ensuring it can continue to support daily traffic and withstand the demands of an urban environment for years to come. Each phase of work brings us one step closer to extending the life of this essential crossing.
This effort is made possible through close collaboration with our partners at WSP in the U.S., whose expertise and coordination help keep the project moving forward efficiently.
On site, Berioska Diaz, Construction Inspector at Gedeon GRC Consulting, is helping drive progress from the ground up ensuring that work is carried out safely, accurately, and in alignment with project standards. Her role is instrumental in maintaining quality and keeping operations on track.
As construction advances, this project stands as a testament to the importance of proactive infrastructure investment and the dedicated professionals working behind the scenes to make it happen.
