September 16, 2026

This week, Gedeon GRC was represented at the American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey (ACEC-NJ) 2026 Fall Conference in Atlantic City by James LaPadula, PE, Assoc. DBIA, ENV SP, Vice President of Engineering, and Miles Kilcourse, Director of Research & Robotics Services.

The annual conference brings together engineering professionals, clients, and industry stakeholders from across New Jersey and beyond to discuss emerging industry trends, exchange best practices, strengthen professional relationships, and explore the future of the engineering profession.

A standout moment of the event was Miles Kilcourse's Professional Development Hour (PDH) presentation, "The Future of Autonomous Infrastructure Inspection." During the session, Miles shared insights into how robotics, drones, artificial intelligence, and autonomous technologies are transforming the way infrastructure is inspected, monitored, and maintained. His presentation highlighted the growing role these technologies play in improving safety, efficiency, and data collection across critical infrastructure projects.

In addition to presenting, James and Miles spent time connecting with industry leaders, clients, and fellow engineering professionals throughout the conference. Events like the ACEC-NJ Fall Conference provide valuable opportunities to exchange ideas, build relationships, and stay at the forefront of innovations shaping the future of engineering.

We are proud to see our team contributing to important industry conversations and showcasing the expertise that continues to drive Gedeon GRC forward.
