Gedeon Returns to Celebrate the Next Generation of Waterfront & Construction Leaders

Gedeon GRC Consulting was proud to attend NYCEDC's Charting New Horizons Commencement Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of the 2026 ConstructNYC and Waterfront Pathways cohorts. The event brought together graduates, industry leaders, agency representatives, mentors, and program partners to recognize the newest class of firms helping shape New York City's future infrastructure landscape.

Representing Gedeon at the event were Rudolf Gedeon, President & CEO, and Angelica Augustyniak, Senior Marketing & Business Development Specialist. As graduates of the 2025 Waterfront Pathways Program, returning to celebrate this year's fellows was especially meaningful and provided an opportunity to reflect on the value these programs bring to MWBE firms across the region.

Throughout the evening, our team reconnected with industry partners, mentors, and fellow alumni while building new relationships that will continue to strengthen collaboration throughout New York City's transportation, waterfront, and infrastructure sectors. Highlights included connecting with industry professionals such as Elizabeth Archer of McKissack, Maria Alarcon of Dewberry, Renee Sacks, and Liz Kuptcha, whose leadership and commitment continue to support the growth of the industry.

The ceremony also showcased the continued success of the Waterfront Pathways and ConstructNYC programs, which equip participating firms with valuable mentorship, professional development opportunities, and industry connections that help drive long-term business growth. These initiatives play an important role in creating opportunities for MWBE firms and fostering partnerships that contribute to New York City's evolving infrastructure and economic development landscape.
