Gedeon GRC Consulting is proud to support the New York City Department of Design and Construction, Division of Infrastructure, on a capital reconstruction project in the Bronx focused on Bruner Avenue, Allerton Avenue, and Ely Avenue.
After decades of heavy vehicular use, challenging subsurface conditions, and deferred maintenance, these corridors are being fully reconstructed from property line to property line. The work will restore roadway integrity, improve pedestrian accessibility, and reduce long‑term maintenance demands for the surrounding neighborhood. Project improvements also include water main replacement, targeted storm sewer repairs, and the installation of new infiltration basins designed to enhance resiliency and reinforce critical underground infrastructure.
Gedeon GRC’s team is providing engineering inspection, management, and coordination services throughout the life of the project, supporting each phase from pre‑construction through final acceptance and close‑out. Our role helps ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project goals and City standards.
Strategic infrastructure investments like this one play a vital role in creating safer, more resilient streets and strengthening New York City’s communities for the long term.
